My name is Nicole and I am very excited to be launching this project and introducing the Listening to Literacy Grow program. I will be using this blog to track and share the growth and progress I make throughout the next few months as well as compiling the necessary curriculum and a how-to-guide on launching the Listening to Literacy Grow program for yourself.

I am currently a graduate student at Chapman University who will be presenting this blog and my research to a professional panel in May. This final presentation will enable me to graduate and conclude the master program I set as a personal goal in 2007.

You can always visit the blog freely but I am asking for your joint effort in commenting and giving me feedback throughout the duration of my research.  I have always been very open to feedback and the professional recommendations that have been given to me. I truly appreciate your honesty and positive criticism while you are following my progress.

Education throughout the world is changing by the moment. I hope to have literacy sustain itself as the key component to all of our future generations success.  With technology at the forefront in many industries and businesses, Listening to Literacy Grow will enable young students to begin in their mastery of technology while learning to love reading.
